Forbes Street Tree Wall 科士街樹牆
Forbes Street Tree Wall is the site with the oldest and largest group of Stone Wall Trees (SWTs) in Hong Kong, including a single continuous masonry wall with the most number of SWTs. During the initial planning of the Kennedy Town MTR Station in 2005, the original proposal was to locate the station under the Forbes Street Temporary Playground which would affect the habitat of the 27 SWTs in the site at that time. In response to public opinions, MTR corporation changed the final siting of the station, and since then the preservation of Forbes Street Tree Wall became a key topic in conjunction with the planning of this new transit hub in Kennedy Town.
科士街樹牆是香港現存擁有最古老和最多石牆樹的場地，其中包括單幅擁有最多石牆樹的石砌擋土牆。2005年，堅尼地城港鐵站的初步規劃中，最初建議將車站設於科士街臨時遊樂場地底，意味將影響當時27棵石牆樹的棲息地。最終港鐵公司改變了車站的選址，以回應社區人士之意見。此後科士街樹牆的保育亦成為與這個新交通樞紐的規劃相輔相成的一個關鍵議題。
